Gem and mineral show to return to Marietta
A gem and mineral show has announced its plans to return to Marietta next month, allowing area residents to learn more about the natural wonders of Cobb County and beyond.
The 40th Annual Cobb County Gem and Mineral Show has announced its start date, giving area families and collectors the opportunity to learn more about the minerals and gems native to Georgia and other parts of the world. The event will span three days, giving interested parties plenty of time to explore and learn more from the experts in attendance.
Hourly door prizes will be awarded to attendees at the show, giving each person the chance to leave as a winner. The displays will feature prime examples of gemstones, fossils, minerals, rocks, and crystals from around the world. Print shops can provide printed materials that provide additional information about the items on display at educational shows like this.
Other highlights of the show include jewelry-making supplies, a collection of unique beads, and handcrafted jewelry from local artisans. Over 30 dealers have announced their attendance at the show. Guests can also purchase geodes to crack at home and mineral-polishing kits.
