A parade and festival are returning to the Marietta area for their 28th consecutive year, and residents and visitors will want to save the date to maximize their fun.
The East Cobber 28th Annual Parade and Festival will open its gates to attendees and Marietta residents who want to celebrate the community and history this October, adding to the tradition’s legacy. The event, which started in 1993, will take a closer look at the people who make East Cobb and the surrounding area a place people enjoy living.
Among those who will be celebrated are school principals, business owners, civic and elected leaders, and schools. The parade and festival will proceed with rain or shine, and those interested in attending are encouraged to check and dress for the weather. Banner printing can give parade floats and participants a bold and memorable way to promote themselves and build increased awareness at such events.
The parade has become one of the largest in Cobb County, while the festival has become an annual opportunity for local businesses to connect with attendees. Concessions will be available, and live music will provide the festival’s soundtrack.
Johnson Ferry Road in nearby East Cobb will be the host site for the parade and festival. The events are scheduled for Saturday, October 3rd, starting at 10:00am. Admission is free and open to the public.
