Marietta toy drive provides holiday joy for local youth
Marietta residents who are looking for ways to make a difference in the community this holiday season are in luck, as a toy drive has been announced.
The Christmas Pop-Up Toy Drive Giveaway has been officially scheduled to bring the Marietta community together in support of a good cause. The event will combine the toy drive efforts with a market for shopping opportunities and live performances from local artists and bands.
The atmosphere will be child-friendly, allowing parents who wish to support the cause to bring their children along to enjoy the festivities. The drive is being organized by Xtreme Dreams Foundation with assistance from the Boxwood Social Hall. In addition to enjoying live performances, attendees will have photo opportunities with popular characters for holidays past. Banner printing is a powerful way to draw attention to such events and increase participation and support.
Local vendors will be at the drive to create a small market, allowing shoppers to look over the goods and complete some of their Christmas shopping. A raffle will also be held, giving each guest the opportunity to leave the toy drive with a prize.
The Boxwood Social Hall on Whitlock Avenue in Marietta will host the tour drive and holiday market on Saturday, December 13 at 10:00 AM. Admission to the event is free, and toy donations are appreciated.
