Music lovers who are seeking an evening of nostalgia will want to make a note in their diaries, as a jazz show is coming to Marietta.
The Jazz at The Strand: Music of Ray Charles will provide an entertaining afternoon that celebrates the life and music of Charles, who is a massive figure in American music history and a jazz icon.
The songs will be performed by vocalist Cleveland Jones, who will use his powerful voice to bring out the best of songs like “I Can’t Stop Loving You,” “Georgia on My Mind,” and “Hit the Road, Jack.” Poster printing has a long track record of success promoting musical performances, blending imagery with information about the show’s location and the artist.
The performance is being organized by the Jazz Legacy Project, which was founded by Justin Varnes while attending his Jazz History courses at Georgia State University. The organization has six years of success bringing jazz history to audiences.
The Velvet Note in Marietta will host the concert on Sunday, April 19th, with the doors opening at 4:00 PM. VIP packages are available, including early access to seating, two drink tickets, and a Q&A session with the performers. General admission tickets are available online for $27, while VIP tickets are $67 per person.
