The Vineyard Café and Dinner Theatre will be presenting a show called ‘Red, White and Tuna’ in a week’s time.
This show is the third edition of the highly popular comedy series about the rather unusual citizens in the fictional Texas town of Tuna. Guests will also enjoy a buffet-style dinner before the show.
This is a satire of Southern small-town U.S.A. The backdrop for this play will be the 4th of July Tuna High School Class Reunion. Many of the old favorite characters such as Bertha and Arles, Stanley, and Didi Snavley, will be reintroduced along with some new personalities.
One unusual aspect of the performance it that it will have only two actors on stage. Joe Sears and Jaston Williams represent the whole cast that includes over 20 characters, both men and women, of various ages. Usually the two performers rush off stage to change costumes, but this time they will perform the final change on stage.
Those interested in attending the show and dinner will need to mark their Calendars and make reservations soon, as seating is limited. Tickets must be purchased at least a day before the performance.
The show will be next Sunday, July 16 at the Vineyard Café and Dinner Theatre, 21 W. Park Square, Marietta and will get underway at 6:00 pm.
