The annual event, with AdventHealth Palm Coast as its sponsor, will take place on Thanksgiving, which this year falls on November 28. The timed run will commence at 7:45am from Daytona State College’s Flagler/Palm Coast campus and will take runners on a scenic tour of the city before returning them to the campus.
Banner as well as flyer printing services are invaluable for informing the public of upcoming community events.
All participants will be eligible to receive, while supplies last, a long-sleeve t-shirt and a finisher medal. In each age group the first three runners across the line will be presented with a place medal along with a Thanksgiving pie. On the city’s website James Hirst, the director of Palm Coast Parks and Recreation commented:
“Whether you’re a seasoned runner, or just someone that just wants to come out with family and friends to enjoy the holiday, the Feet to Feast is the perfect community event that really captures of the essence of Thanksgiving.”
Prizes will also be given out for winners of the costume contests, which include Best Overall Costume, Best Overall Family Costume, Best Costumed Couple, and Cutest Kid Costume.
Early bird registration through November 11 is $30, standard registration up to November 26 is $35 and fee on day of event is $40. Student registration is $20 regardless of when it takes place.
