An educational and eco-friendly celebration will be held at the Town Center in Palm Coast.
Those interested in celebrating the environment can attend an Arbor Day celebration with the community of Palm Coast. There will be several family-friendly activities at the event, such as a butterfly tent for guests to walk through and a group butterfly release. Guests will have opportunities to learn about why environmental stewardship is important at the festival’s resource booths. People can also shred their papers for free at the event venue.
There will also be a free tree giveaway at the event offered by the Flowing Well Tree Farm. Several trees will be available to take home, such as the Weeping Bottle Brush, Southern Red Cedar, and Arbequina Olive. People who bring non-perishable food donations to the event will receive a 3 gallon tree. The Flowing Well Tree Farm is a plant nursery in Volusia County that sells many types of plants and has an online database on different Florida trees.
The Arbor Day festival will take place on Saturday, May 2nd, from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm. There is no cost or registration needed for families to attend the celebration. The event will be held at Central Park in Plant City’s Town Center. Communities that celebrate holidays like this can use poster printing services to share details about their parties with more people.
