Palm Coasts 25th Anniversary Celebration on horizon
Big plans are underway for the 25th anniversary of Palm Coast acquiring city status with a series of special events designed to illustrate the vibrant spirit and history of the community.
One of the Sunshine State’s youngest cities, Palm Coast was incorporated in 1999 and although its history may be short residents here are proud of it. Although the official Anniversary Celebration does not take place until late October, special touches will be added to some of the city’s regular events.
Banner printing services are particularly effective at getting the word out about large events that are open to the public.
The Linear Park Storywalk for September will take up the history of Palm Coast. Kiosks along a half-mile trail in the park tell a story that families can read as they enjoy the outdoors. From September 1-30 Parker the Pelican is telling the story of Palm Coast’s first 25 years. Additionally, the city’s annual Senior Games which take place this year September 13 – October 6 will also incorporate elements relating to the city’s anniversary celebration.
The bulk of the celebration, however, will take place on October 26 when residents are invited to gather in the city’s Central Park for live music, fun activities and a variety of delicious food items all in a family friendly environment. Attendance is free.
