Although popular, Epic Theatres of Palm Coast was showing its age. After more than $1 million spent in renovation, business and city leaders held a ribbon-cutting ceremony on August 27 to mark the milestone. Some of the upgrades include an enhanced lighting system, luxury electric recliners, new flooring, and improvements to the facility’s acoustics. All 14 movie auditoriums received the upgrade. In addition, visitors can now experience their Epic XTS Auditorium, which features a wall-to-wall laser projection, a 24-channel audio system, and luxury recliners with built-in shaking, creating a more engaging movie experience. The LUX Theatre is exclusively for the 17+ crowd and offers massage recliners with built-in charging ports.
Palm Coast Vice Mayor Theresa Pontieri stated:

This renovation is only one of several in Palm Coast, enhancing the area’s quality of life. Continued downtown renovation includes The Promenade, a mixed-use development slated to open in late 2026.
Epic Theatres of Palm Coast is located at 1185 Central Avenue and has been open for about 14 years. Operating hours are 10:30 AM to 11:00 PM.
