Palm Coast starts April with music event

The annual Springing in the Blues festival is the oldest and most anticipated blues festival in Palm Coast, Florida. Canceled in 2021 because of COVID-19, it will be back and bigger than ever for 2022.

The festival started in 1991 to celebrate the music genre that originated in the Southern states. It has won several awards and was honored by Downbeat Magazine as one of the top 50 music festivals in the US.

Springing the Blues is a three-day, outdoor event that will feature over 50 acts from legendary blues performers, both locally and regionally. There will be performances from upcoming artists whose songs are mixed with other music genres, such as funk, hip-hop, rock, gospel, and soul. The festival will also have food and beverage vendors, kid-friendly activities, and an artisan marketplace.

The festival is free but there are VIP passes ranging from $40 to $140. VIP ticket holders receive armchair seats at the front of the stage, drink service, air-conditioned restrooms, and food catered by Mojo BBQ.

Flyer printing is inexpensive and a great way to provide information for music festivals and events such as these.

The 30th staging of the festival runs from Friday, April 1, to Sunday, April 3. It will be held at the Seawalk Pavillion, 1st Street North, Jacksonville Beach, Florida 32250. Those interested in attending the festival can call (904) 270-9301 or visit the website for more information.
