Palm Coast plant sale to include local species

A planned plant sale will provide Palm Coast home horticulturalists with a chance to score some new additions to their own collection.

The activity has been organized by the staff at Washington Oaks Gardens State Park. Shoppers who attend will be invited to browse through the location’s gardens, getting inspiration as they go. A selection of the species on display will be available for purchase, and admission is included in the usual entry fee to the site.

The function has been planned by Friends of Washington Oaks Garden State Park, which is a group that raises money to aid in the upkeep of the site and its programs. As there will be several rare species of plants included in the sale, it is expected that it will attract collectors, and everyone present will be able to ask questions about how to install and care for their new flora.

While many people enjoy gardening, they may not always know how to look after their plants. If the organizers of this type of community fundraiser order printed plant care tags or care sheets from a printing services company to include with each purchase, it will make it easier for the customers to keep their new green friends in top shape

The Second Saturday Plant Sale program will be held on November 13. Anyone who would like to find out more is advised to visit the function’s web listing.
