A children's fitness event is to be held in Palm Coast this August.
The Mala Compra Hare Run Kids Trail Race takes place as a part of a series of events put on by Elevate Events. The organization frequently hosts fitness events for all ages to improve physical health and wellbeing. They also use the opportunity to partner with local non-profit organizations to help promote and increase awareness among local communities.
With this initiative, the goal is to improve children’s comfort while participating in running events on a variety of trails. The race will operate on the premise that each child is a winner. As such, each participant will be given medals at the end of the race. There will also be refreshments provided. The top performing boys and girls in each age group will also be specially rewarded.
The cost for registration will be $28, which will cover the cost of race bibs, as well as a spot in the timed race. Patrons may also opt to sponsor a child. Further information on registration and sponsorship options is available on the event’s website.
