The Parks and Recreation Department of Palm Coast has announced a free concert in the park, scheduled for the end of June.
Half Step Down, a local classic rock band, will perform a free concert for area residents. The band is comprised of five members that have been playing together about 2 years. The band is highly experienced and cites The Doobie Brothers, Carlos Santana, Eric Clapton, and Tom Petty among their influences. The band has performed publicly over one hundred times, including large venues.
The concert is part of the city’s Concert Series, intended to showcase local talent. This series of concerts extends through September 25, occurring on the last Thursday evening of each summer month. According to the city government website, vendors and food trucks will be present at the venue, and yard games will be available for patrons’ enjoyment. Beer and wine will be available for purchase at the event as well. Palm Coast Ford is the corporate sponsor for the Palm Coast Concert Series.
