Theme parks in Orlando to experience updates

Changes will be coming to Walt Disney World in Orlando early next year.

One of the changes will be the return of all-day park hopping. Those who hold an annual pass or park hooper benefits will be to visit any theme park during the hours that the parks are open, as opposed to previously waiting until 2:00 p.m. This will enable guests to visit many new attractions such as TRON Lightcycle Run at Magic Kingdom and “Journey of Water, Inspired by Moana” at EPCOT.

Dining plans will also return to those who buy a vacation package and stay at a Disney Resort hotel. These plans enable guests to pay for meals and snacks in advance.

“Good-to-go days” will also be making a debut next year. This will enable those holding an annual pass and cast members to visit the parks at any time without the need to make a reservation. These days will be offered on a periodic basis. Flyer printing can be used so guests can be made aware of when such days will be available.

Lastly Walt Disney World is changing the prices for its annual passes for renewals and new sales. The “Pirate Pass” and “Incredi-Pass” will each increase in price by $50, while the “Pixie Dust Pass” will go up by $40, and the “Sorcerer Pass” will increase by $30.
