As the third stop on its tour, the Dear Summer Festival will visit Miami this August, bringing with it high-energy activities and a range of food and beverages.
The Dear Summer Festival, formerly known as the Dear Summer BBQ, was founded by Historically Black Colleges & Universities (HBCU) Virginia State University & Delaware State University as a way to bring alumni together. It has grown into an interstate “Summer Homecoming” festival that sees the coming together of not only alumni and Greek society members but also creatives, influencers, and entrepreneurs across the country.
The festival in Miami will feature a diverse array of foods and beverages, highlighting the local cuisine. For entertainment, there will be music by some of Miami’s top DJs, who will build an atmosphere for attendees to party and dance to. There will also be many unique activations spotlighting some of the hottest brands and vendors in the city. This will be a rain-or-shine event.
