Miami nonprofit to hold Easter bash for local families

The 13th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza by T5 Foundation will be held in Miami next month to get families ‘hopping’ into the Easter spirit with food, games, and fun.

The T5 Foundation is a nonprofit organization serving South Florida families, especially those who are disenfranchised and improvised living in inner city Miami neighborhoods. The foundation provides programming and resources for individuals and families to help prevent homelessness or transition out of homelessness. It also raises funds to support high school students with college scholarships and organizes special events to bring the community together.

The Easter event is expected to draw an even larger crowd than last year. There will be both a traditional egg hunt and a helicopter egg drop, a skating rink, food trucks, a basketball clinic, gaming station, and adult lounge. Other activities include arts and crafts and a petting zoo where people can feed the animals. The first 500 children to arrive will also receive a special goodie bag.

Organizers wishing to give out swag Bags or special prizes at their events will often partner with local businesses open to donating Promotional Products in exchange for advertising perks.

The T5 Foundation Easter event is slated for Sunday, April 5, from 12:30 pm to 5:00 pm. It will be held at KIPP Miami, located at 3000 NW 110th Street.
