The Miami Book Fair returns next month to transform the streets of downtown Miami into a literary wonderland buzzing with all manner of bookish activities and intellectually stimulating discussions and engagements.
The book fair will be held over eight days throughout multiple venues in the city, hosting hundreds of prominent, critically acclaimed authors in various genres.
The fair will begin with an opening day block party where attendees can read all day and dance all night. Each day will be filled with events, such as the “Evenings With” events highlighting specific authors in three languages: English, Spanish, and Creole. Authors to be featured include W. Kamau Bell, Lauren Acampora, Chantel Acevedo, Josie Adams, and Liaquat Ahamed.
Programs will include the Children's Alley, creative writing workshops, Emerging Writer Fellowships, Little Haiti Book Festival, ReadingCuban, ReadingEast, Storybook Picnic at Koubek, and the Children’s Trust Books for Free. There will also be book- and literacy-related exhibitors to peruse, as well as food vendors to enjoy.
Large-scale festivals like this may provide printed Brochures to attendees that detail event specifics. Organizers can visit local Print shops with specialty brochure printing services to print these in bulk ahead of their events.
The Miami Book Fair is slated for November 15 through 22. It will be held in downtown Miami at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus, 300 NE Second Avenue.
