The 2024 39th Melbourne Art Festival is set to be a showcase of creativity, culture, and community.
The festival will include a diverse range of art exhibitions showcasing the work of talented artists from across the area. Works presented will range from paintings and sculptures to photography and mixed media.
Free workshops will be available to ages 6-13 during the Art Festival. There will also be interactive art installations that will engage the senses and help spark imagination. These experiences will allow participants to be active in the creative process and create memorable moments. Visitors will also be able to watch artists in action during live demonstrations and workshops.
The artisan market will be feature a wide selection of handmade goods and unique crafts. There will be items from jewelry and textiles to ceramics and woodworking items. Artists at such events often carry Business Cards to pass out to local patrons, thereby giving them a way to remember their booth and what their art covered.
Live music is scheduled from various musicians as they take the stage at various times throughout the festival. There will be live bands, DJs, and solo artists, as well as cultural performances and dance troops.
The festival is taking place on April 27 and 28 at Wickham Park, 3845 N Wickham, Melbourne. There is no charge to attend the festival.
