The Greater Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce (WCCC) and the Greater Pasco Chamber of Commerce (GPCC) are consolidating in order to give business a larger voice in Tampa Bay.
The consolidation will make it the 8th largest Chamber of Commerce in the Tampa Bay area with 862 members, and the board of directors will rise to 24 members. The new chamber does not have a name yet, but its offices will be based in Lutz and officials are looking to hire a membership coordinator who will work there.
In order to celebrate this move, the GPCC/WCCC Soaring to New Heights Dinner and Awards celebration is taking place next month, offering an opportunity for members of both chambers to meet their business peers and to forge new partnerships. Guests will enjoy a cocktail hour followed by a sit-down dinner and awards presentations. Tickets for the dinner are $60 each or $500 for a corporate table of eight.
It is more than likely that most of those planning to attend this event in Lutz will be bringing their premium Business Cards with them to hand out.
The Soaring to New Heights Dinner and Awards gala will be held at the Hilton Garden Inn – Tampa Suncoast Parkway on August 18 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM. Call 813-994-8534 for more information.
