Benzer Pharmacy, an independent chain, is moving forward with the opening of three new stores in a single day.
On November 9, Benzer Pharmacy Office Manager Courtney Griner announced that the company had opened three new stores, bringing its total of openings in the Greater Tampa Bay area in a single year up to six.
The latest additions to the pharmacy chain are in Lutz, Wesley Chapel, and New Port Richey. Before year’s end, Benzer has two more pharmacies scheduled to open. One of those will be in Pinellas Park and the other in Carrollwood.
According to Griner, the pharmacy’s biggest priority this year has been to increase its market share across the Greater Tampa Bay region. She said the company has never experienced a better time to expand. The growth has been made possible by the dramatically increasing demand for prescription medication and specialty pharmaceuticals.
