The Florida International Reptile Show, affectionately dubbed Repticon, will be coming in June.
The show will open with a presentation on the care of large constrictors and conditional species application called Beyond the Scale. Following that, Redfoot Ranch will discuss the captive care of tortoises and turtles. Next, the topic will be Leopard Geckos and Top Hat Geckos.
An Amazing Animals Inc. representative will be speaking on Animal Care and Commitment. Sugar Gliders will be the topic of the next presentation and it will be followed by Yellow Footed Tortoises presented by Crocodilian Conservation Center of Florida, Inc.
On the final day, many of the presentations will be repeated with the addition of Sunshine Serpents- Animal Presentation.
Over 100 vendors will be on hand passing out Flyers, giving demonstrations and exhibiting/selling their reptiles, supplies, and services. Many exhibitors will allow guests from here in Lutz to hold non-venomous animals. Product samples from businesses such as ZooMed will be distributed.
Tickets will run $1 for adult general admission and $5 for children ages five through twelve. VIP tickets will be $12 for adults and $5 for kids.
The event will be held in the Charles M. Davis Special Events Center at the Florida State Fairground, 4800 N. Us Highway 301, North Tampa on June 10 and 11. Gates will open at 10:00 am and close at 5:00 pm on Saturday and 4:00 pm on Sunday.
