Three new Ford’s Garage burger restaurants are scheduled to open in the Tampa Bay area in early 2017.
One location will be across the street from the Tampa Premium Outlets in Lutz. The other two will be in the former location of the Cody’s Restaurant and the other on a parcel of land in front of the Costco Wholesale Corp., which is under construction.
The restaurant was named for the owner of Brandon Ford, Wayne Hammond, and is designed in the style of a service station from the 1920s as a tribute to Henry Ford, an industrialist who spent his winter in Fort Myers, which is where the first Ford’s Garage opened.
According to president of Ford’s Garage Restaurants, Mac Brown, each area has its own bit of history that is reflected in each location. Quirky décor has also helped to build brand recognition for the restaurant, he explained.
Ford’s Garage features comfort food, including ‘Mama Ford’s Homemade Meatloaf’, craft beers, and large burgers from a ‘Burgers of Fame’ menu that changes every January. There is also part of the menu devoted to macaroni and cheese.
Brown might benefit from the assistance of various printing services, including Flyers and mailers, to advertise the coming of the new restaurants in the Lutz area and their distinguishing features and menu options.
