The GFWC Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Woman’s Club will host its 43rd Annual Arts and Crafts Festival next month to raise money for the club and provide a festive atmosphere for the community.
The Lutz-Land O’ Lakes Women’s Club was founded in 1960 with the mission of offering a communal organization for women to engage in volunteer activities to improve their homes, neighborhoods, country, and world. One of these is an annual arts and crafts event, which also serves as the club’s largest fundraiser of the year.
The two-day festival is expected to be the biggest yet, with over 200 vendors expected to attend. Items to be sold include original artwork, photography, handcrafted jewelry, metalwork, woodcrafts, yard art, and plants. There will also be a large food court to provide attendees with a place to buy food and refreshments. Families with young children should note that Santa Claus will make an appearance on both days of the event.
Venues of arts and crafts festivals like this one are often decorated with festive banners, especially in the vendor spaces. People can receive help printing these banners at local shops specializing in banner printing.
The festival will take place on the December 3 and 4 weekend. It will be held at Keystone Prep High School on 18105 Gunn Highway. Parking is $5.
