This June, Lutz will host the Facial Reflexology Workshop for Parents and Kids with Wanda & Wanda, a workshop intended to help families unwind and bond over a shared activity.
The Facial Reflexology Workshop will be led by Wanda Perez and Wanda Vargas. Perez is the owner of MiaBella by Wanda, a licensed esthetician, and a facial reflexology practitioner. Vargas is a 500 RYT yoga instructor, 95 RCYT kids' yoga instructor, and a facial reflexology practitioner. Together, the two Wandas will lead families through a beginner’s class of reflexology, yoga, and meditation.
Facial reflexology works in similar ways to foot reflexology in that it utilizes reflexes and pressure points on the face to encourage the body’s natural healing process. It is said to help promote rest and relaxation, as well as communication and bonding between people. Besides learning reflexology techniques, attendees will also learn simple yoga poses and meditation techniques.
Workshops like this may be advertised on Flyers, which can be distributed in community centers, schools, gyms, and the like. Organizers may visit local Print shops that offer flyer printing to help to prepare these materials.
The reflexology workshop will take place on Saturday, June 1 from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm. It will be held at Sun Yoga Tampa, located at 19239 North Dale Mabry Highway, Lutz. Tickets are $40 for a parent and one child.
