Hillsborough County celebrates Independence Day right

The Tampa Red, White and Blue Festival: Jazz in July is taking place this Independence Day.

The festival will feature activities that are sure to appeal to people of all ages and interests.

There will be plenty of live music, fashion shows, family contests and activities, and an All-American Food Court. There will also be ‘patri-art-ic’ workshops, giveaways, an appearance by Surly, the Squirrel. Craft vendors will be on hand to sell their handmade items which are sure to include handmade jewelry, clothing, home accessories, and paintings. No doubt there will be some patriotic souvenirs for sale also.

Children’s activities will include face painting, and no doubt many people will want an American Flag on their face. In addition, charging stations will be available for those who bring their cell phones.The evening will finish off with a firework display at 8:45 PM.

VIP tickets are available for the festival. They include free entry to the Tampa History Center, a silent auction, flavor tastings, two drink tickets, access to the VIP tent, and special VIP prize drawings.

Families from all over the county, including those from nearby Lutz, will no doubt be interested in visiting the festival. To advertise, organizers may have invested in flyer printing services.
