The City of Largo will be holding an Open House and Back to School Expo at the end of the month at the Highland Recreation Complex, the Southwest Recreation Complex, and the Largo Community Center.
This is an event at which attendees can get tours of all three facilities, participate in the giveaway of school supplies, and engage in many other family-friendly activities. Brochure printers in Largo are sometimes involved in providing programs for annual events such as these, as printed items can serve as a guide to the activities of the day.
One of the special offers of the day is a ‘buy one, get one free’ ticket for admission to the Highland Family Aquatic Center. There will be a volunteer drive at the Largo Community Center and a garage sale at the Southwest Recreation Complex. School supplies will be available at all three buildings.
Sponsors of the event include the Largo Middle School PSTA, Walmart, and the Largo High School PSTA. The Open House will be held on Saturday August 23rd from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Highland Recreation Complex features a walking track, fitness center, three-story indoor playground, indoor and outdoor basketball courts, and an interactive gaming room. The Southwest Recreation is home to the Largo Tennis Center, has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, fitness center, and a gym.
