New Largo city hall seeks commercial renters

A Request for Proposal has been released by the city of Largo for the leasing of commercial real estate in the new mixed-used city hall.

The new complex will be developed on West Bay Drive and there will be just over 100,000 square feet of facility space. The complex will be five stories high with a similar sized parking structure to offer 308 parking spaces. There will be close to 14,000 square feet of mixed use commercial space on the ground floor, and a terrace on the second floor for al fresco dining or other uses.

The new city hall will be the second building on the property. There will be a lobby on the ground floor with the rest of the 4,000 square feet to be of mixed use. There will also be a parking lot with 23 spaces, public restrooms, a public plaza that could be used for outdoor dining, and event spaces both indoors and outdoors. Local Print shops are often hired to create Brochures and Flyers that could attract potential retailers to such spaces.

The new mixed-use city hall is also near many amenities in the downtown area, including dining, entertainment and recreational facilities, and shopping. Within a short distance of the property are the Largo Central Park Performing Arts Center, Largo Tri-City Plaza, and the Largo Mall, as well as Indian Rocks Beach and Belleair Bluffs.
