People will soon be able to register for the Summer Camps of 2025 offered by the city of Largo.
The city promises that these camps will offer a summer experience that will be fun and enriching, with camps that will build skills, spark creativity, and create memories that will last for years to come.
Among the camps will be ones for sports that will include pickleball, football, flag football, and dodgeball. There will be an opportunity at McGough Nature Park to explore the wonders of nature, and dance camps such as Princess Ballet and Jungle Jamz will take place. The special interest camps will feature ones that delve into such passions as gaming, arts and crafts, and cooking. Various recreation facilities in Largo will host the camps, including Largo Community Center, Southwest Recreation, Highland Recreation, and the Central Park Performing Arts Center.
Scholarships will be made available for families in need. The city of Largo will also be hiring lifeguards, camp leaders, and snack attendants, among others, for those looking for a fulfilling summer experience.
Registration for residents of Largo will open on Friday, February 14 while registration for non-residents will open on Friday, February 28. Registration for sport and specialty camps can be completed online but registration for full-day camps needs to be done in person at any Largo Recreation facility.
