Registration is open for the Shamrock ‘N Run at Ulmer Park on West Bay Drive this weekend.
This event promises to offer participants a lively experience in the Largo community, with the running accompanied by a range of Irish celebrations.
The festivities will begin at 5:00 pm with registration on site and the pickup of packets by attendees. The 5K race will begin at 6:00 pm, along with the 1.5 Mile Walk. The Kids’ Fun Run will be at 7:15 pm.
The park will feature fun with an Irish theme, treats from food trucks, refreshing cold beer, and live music at the end of the race.
Discounted prices of $10 are available for students and children; $15 for veterans, first responders, and teachers; and $20 for groups of four or more. For other groups, registration is $20 for the 1.5 Mile Walk and $25 for the 5K, although both these fees increase by $5 on the day of the event. Registration includes one beer or other beverage, food, and an event T-shirt. T-Shirts and other branded Apparel offer an opportunity for event organizers to use their Logo Design to help promote events throughout a city and surrounding communities.
