Largo to host holidays in the park

The city of Largo is hosting the Holiday Lights and a train ride in Largo Central Park this month.

Such parks often use several printing services to inform the public of special festive events.

There are over two million LED lights in the park, as well as a few amusement park rides. The featured rides are a Ferris wheel reaching seven stories high with an aerial view of the park, and a carrousel with a menagerie theme. There are also vendors with food and drink and a campfire.

There is no admission fee to visit the park but the cost for the rides is $5 each, or five rides for $20. This special attraction is opened through January 3. The light display is from 6:00 to 11:00 pm, and the rides are from 5:00 to 11:00 pm.

The Jingle All The Way Holiday Train Ride is on board the miniature Largo Central Park Railroad from which passengers travel through many scenes of the holiday along with costumed characters and decorations. Santa Claus may also make a surprise appearance. A commemorative souvenir will be given to each guest.

Tickets need to be purchased in advance at any of the recreational facilities in the city or online, and are $12 each. The train ride will be at the park this weekend on Saturday, December 12 and Sunday, December 13 from 5:00 to 9:45 pm.
