Performance Air Conditioning, Electrical and Plumbing in Largo will be acquired by Strikepoint Group Holdings (SGH), based in Newark.
Performance is a heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) company founded in 1959 that serves residential units, and expanded into electrical and plumbing work several years ago as the region grew economically and saw an increase in club memberships. The third-generation owner of Performance, Terry Stables, said that his father and grandfather learned about refrigeration in the Navy and that the cleanest people they saw were the ones who were doing HVAC work. Often such family businesses rely on extended family to use many kinds of printing services for door hangers and other items to promote their companies.
The company looks to afford peace of mind for its customers in knowing that same day service is always available, and service is available for emergencies. Stables found that the companies of Strikepoint had the same viewpoint, which is helping facilitate the transition process during the acquisition.
CEO of Strikepoint Group Holdings, Charles Haines, echoed the sentiment saying that his company enjoys working with organizations like Performance that are always looking to offer new services for their customers, and create new opportunities for their employees. He expressed his thrill that Performance will be joining the Strikepoint family of brands as it has a solid customer base and an excellent team.
