The first Wawa convenience store with a drive-thru is now open in Largo on East Bay Drive.
This is the third drive-thru location for Pennsylvania-based Wawa, with the other two in Westampton, New Jersey and Falls Township, with the latter being the company’s first drive-thru only location.
This location of Wawa does not have any gas pumps and is focusing in serving coffee, hot breakfast sandwiches, some new items such as burgers and French fries, the brand’s popular customizable hoagies, and packaged goods. A new line of specialty beverages will include hot, cold, and frozen drinks, as well as juices, teas, and dairy products. Such new establishments often turn to local Print shops to help promote their brand and offerings.
Largo’s new Wawa spans 2,200 square feet and has a fresh food kitchen fully equipped to make its signature hoagies to order. It can serve 12 cars at a time.
In addition to its signature hoagies and hot breakfast sandwiches, Wawa is known for its free ATMs, free air for tires, affordable gas prices, clean bathrooms, and customer services. Forbes has included Wawa in its list of Best Employers for Women and New College Grads for 2024, while Newsweek has rated it number one in its list of America’s Best Customer Service.
The hours of the drive-thru Wawa in Largo are 5:00 am to midnight daily.
