Holidays come to Largo with two celebrations

The Holiday Stroll is returning to Largo for two days next month. It takes place at Largo Central Park on alternate Tuesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 pm.

One of the most popular parts of the Stroll will be the Holiday Craft Market, which is expected to feature over 60 local artisans selling their handmade items; the market opens at 3:00 PM on both days. Items for sale will likely include jewelry, clothing, and Christmas decorations.

Also on the schedule is an appearance by Santa Claus, music, holiday characters, and photo opportunities. Food and beverages are also available for sale.

The first Stroll takes place on December 2 and istitled ‘Rockin’ Lights Family Fun Night’. The official tree lighting will be taking place at 7:00 PM. Also taking place on this night is the 3rd annual Chalkfest, featuring works created by chalk artists.

The next Stroll, on December 16, will feature activities such as the kids’ snow slide and a parade of lighted motorcycles. Late Night Brass will also be performing.

To advertise this event in Largo, it is likely that organizers will invest in printed products such as Posters and Brochures.

The Holiday Stroll will take place from 6:30 to 9:30 PM on both nights. For more information, or to sponsor a chalk artist, contact Ilona Fries-McKinley at 757-505-5644.
