The 11th annual Art Hops festival is taking place next month in Largo. It is a fundraiser for the Greater Largo Library Foundation.
Over 40 artists are expected to be showing and selling their works at this year’s festival; this year’s featured artist is Craig Bone. Organizers are still accepting applications from local artists. Fees for an 8-foot draped table are $50 until March 31 and $75 after. All those who register for tables will be listed in the event program and may donate an auction item.
In addition to art vendors, there will be a silent auction, a scavenger hunt, musical entertainment and dancing. Guests can purchase food or enjoy a drink in the craft brew garden.
Sponsorships are available for $250 up to $5,000 and program advertisements cost from $50 to $250.
Funds raised at this year’s event will help to raise money for the Greater Largo Library to purchase a bookmobile.
There is a chance that many of the artists participating will invest in Postcards from a Largo printing services company to use as large-format Business Cards.
The Art Hops festival will be held at the Largo Public Library on April 21 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM. Tickets are $25 for general admission and $35 including the craft brew garden. Call 727-586-7398 for the most up-to-date information about this event.
