The 2nd annual Largo Taste Fest is taking place next month. Proceeds will go towards the Highland Family Aquatic Center’s Children’s Scholarship Fund.
This year’s emcee will be Jennifer Holloway from News Channel 8. A number of local restaurants will be on hand to provide guests with samples of their best food, and then compete for Best of Taste.
In addition, artworks from local artists will be on display; the public will vote for the best work and the artist will receive a People’s Choice award. There will also be a Best in Show art exhibit featuring the works of Largo High School Students.
There is also set to be a silent auction and a 50/50 raffle. A cash bar will be providing drinks throughout the evening. Musical entertainment will be provided by Jon Rivera.
The festival is an opportunity to help children while showcasing the best food that is available in Largo. To help spread the word, local Stationery printing companies are often asked to provide printed advertisements that can be distributed in the community.
The Largo Taste Fest will be held at the Highland Family Aquatic Center on November 4 from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 on the day of the event, with one drink and unlimited food samples included. To learn more, call 727-587-6740 x5008.
