The 66th Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast of the Central Pinellas Chamber of Commerce is taking place next month in nearby Clearwater.
The annual meeting gives chamber members a chance to learn just what has happened in the organization over the year and gives them an opportunity to ask questions of the chamber executive.
There will be two awards handed out to deserving people in the Central Pinellas community. The awards are Citizen of the Year which is given to a distinguished citizen who has demonstrated community service and has volunteered extensively and the Marc Norcross Small Business of the Year award which is given to the owner of a company that employs 50 or less people and is an active member of the Greater Pinellas Chamber of Commerce.
There will be plenty of opportunities at this morning event for those attending to exchange Business Cards with their peers from such communities as Largo and to briefly discuss their businesses.
Largo Stationery printers are often asked to provide Invitations that are mailed out to local chamber members.
The Annual Meeting and Awards Breakfast will be held at the Sheraton Sand Key Resort on September 11 from 7:30 AM to 9:30 PM. Tickets are $50 each or $380 for a table of 8; the deadline to register is September 6. Call 727-584-2321 for more information.
