Clearwater Beach will be the host to the Hooters Clearwater Super Boat National Championship and Seafood Festival next month. This location is sufficiently close to Largo that many from that community will want to attend.
This event is a race of powerboats with some of the fastest in the world looking to become the national champion. Banner printing is often used throughout an area to promote such events.
The event will open on Friday with a display of all the boats at the Powerboat Race Village at Coachman Park. This will be an opportunity for guests to meet the racers and discuss their super boats.
In the evening, there will a block party in the downtown area. Featured at the party will be live entertainment, games, contests, and beer trucks. This will be followed by the Shephard’s Kick-Off party at Shephard’s Beach Resort.
Many more activities are planned for Saturday including National Artist Live at Pier 60 with a firework display and vendors and live entertainment. Sunday will be the day for the power boats races. Race times are noon, 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. with multiple classes per race. Following the races there will be a race party and awards ceremony with happy hour specials and presentation of awards at 6:00 p.m.
The festival will be taking place from Friday September 27 to Sunday September 29.
