The 22nd annual Halloween Spooktacular is taking place on the last Saturday of next month, and is a presentation by the City of Largo.
The festival is aimed mainly at children aged 12 and younger. There will be plenty of fun activities that should appeal to all different interests and tastes.
The most popular will no doubt be the Trick or Treat Trail. Children will visit several business locations, schools, and stores to receive treats. A costume is not required to collect the treats.
There will be inflatables like bounce houses, a hay maze, and lots of fun games. There will also be musical entertainment, a petting zoo, and several strolling entertainers. Other activities will include trampoline jumping, pony rides, and a zip line. Children can purchase a wristband for $7 in advance or $10 on the day, although some of the activities come with an extra cost.
In addition, there will be a patch with pumpkins for sale, and a story time activity will take place here too.
Flyers are often distributed all over the Largo area to remind families that festivals are coming up again soon. The Halloween Spooktacular will be held at Largo Central Park on October 28 from 12:00 to 5:00 PM. Contact Christine DeVoe at 727-587-6700 for more information about all of the planned activities.
