Both plant and craft lovers are welcome to sign up now for needlecraft event coming up in Washington, D.C. at the end of the month.
Shop Made in DC recently announced that it will be running a class to introduce some of the basics of cross-stitch needlework to the public. The techniques they will learn can be used by the participants to make other projects as well.
Students in the session will be preparing cross-stitch art that boasts a foliage design, and all of the instruction will be supplied. It is designed to offer an easy introduction to the basics of the craft, with learning how to read a pattern also on the agenda. It was explained in the event listing that while some experience in sewing may be helpful, even newbies can benefit, and all are welcome
A crafting class like this gives the public a chance to learn a new and enjoyable hobby, and they may even decide to use it as the basis of their own small company. Business Cards for an establishment will be available at local Print shops.
The team at Shop Made DC will be helping Washington to get stitching with this workshop on Saturday, April 29. It will begin at 5:00 pm, and seats are still available at the time of writing, priced at $50.
