The Fairmont Washington D.C. Georgetown will soon be throwing the switch on its annual seasonal light display.
The venue will be pulling out all the stops for its light displays, and these include a festive holiday tree. Many families choose to host holiday celebrations at the location, and the event kicks off the season.
During the festivities, there will be an assortment of vocal performances of well-known holiday tunes, kids will be able to decorate cards to send and share, and there will also be a chance to sample some holiday treats. Everyone can try their luck in the prize draws, with theater tickets, overnight hotel stays, and meal passes all to be drawn for.
Along with the rest of the fun, Santa will even be stopping by to meet the kids in person. Attendees are being encouraged to discover the joy of helping others by bringing along a new, unwrapped toy to pass along to those in need.
