As the days grow shorter, a Washington venue is getting ready for an annual spectacle that lights up the darkness of an early winter evening.
The annual Holiday Boat Parade will once again be delighting the public, and anyone who is interested in joining the fun is invited to register to do so. The vessels will set out from District Pier at The Wharf, and spectators do not need to register.
The organizers for the activity have created a registration form, and this must be filled out by any Captains who are interested. The boats will need to be decorated, and only 70 spots are available this year. To thank them for their support, a Captain's after Party has been added to the agenda for 2024. They will each be able to reserve up to 8 tickets for free, and additional passes may be purchased for $35.00 each.
To thank the boaters for making the event a success, prizes will be presented. They may also qualify for the Captain’s Treasure Chest, and these will be filled with a variety of prizes. Corporate Gifts, such as T-Shirts, printed blankets and other items for an activity can be ordered from a professional printer.
The Holiday Boat Parade will once again be adding some light and color to the evening of December 7th. It will begin at 7:00 pm, and the final date to register a vessel is November 26th.
