Washington to explore benefits of plant propagation techniques

Washington’s home horticulturalists who would like to add some plant propagation skills to their toolkit may want to make time for an upcoming learning opportunity.

Savvy green thumbs know that it can be beneficial to create clones of their favorite cultivars, and it also offers a way to get new plants without having to break the bank. The group will be working with cuttings, and each attendee will receive two they can take home with them.

The facilitator of the class will teach a vanity of methods for obtaining new plants, and seed saving, growing cuttings and other techniques will all be on the agenda. The organizers release explained that the tips shared may be used with plants such as basil, and they may be especially useful for growing in small spaces. Tickets to take a seat in the activity are available now at a price of $20 each.

During the pandemic, many people developed an interest in indoor gardening, and many have chosen to continue with the hobby. Workshops give them a chance to learn some new skills, and a flyer printing company often proves to be a helpful partner in marketing the events.

This introduction to art and science of plant propagation will be welcoming registrants at 3:30 on July 10. It will take place at 3 Stars Brewing Company in Washington.
