Washington boat parade to light up the night

Many communities host-holiday themed parades, but one on the way to Washington will have a special twist that makes it stand apart from the crowd.

The annual Holiday Boat Parade has come to be a cherished tradition in the D.C. area, featuring dozens of brightly lit boats of all sizes. Those who would like to watch the spectacle can do so from The Wharf located at 760 Main Avenue Southwest, and there will be other activities on offer as well.

Along with enjoying views of the Boat Parade, The Wharf will serve as a venue for family fun. The kids can visit Santa, and the whole family will be offered a chance to take a photo with The Big Guy in Red. The younger guests can craft a keepsake ornament, and everyone will be tapping their toes along to the live music performed under the location's holiday tree.

A festive celebration often includes custom designed décor. This will be available at a local printing services company, which will also be able to provide helpful tips and advice to each of its individual clients.

The 2022 District Holiday Boat Parade will be taking to the water on Saturday, December 3. The sail-by will be just part of what will be on offer, and the event will begin at 6:00 pm.
