Washington area to enjoy spring makers market

Spring is often considered to be a time for renewal, and an event on the way for the Washington area will welcome the season in style.

The Cherry Blossom Celebration and Spring Market event has been planned for mid-April, and will be on offer at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Arlington. It will include a pop-up style shopping party with items made by local artisans and makers, and the event is open to those of all ages.

As well as the pop-up market, the function will include live music and poetry readings. There will be an assortment of exhibits set up by the museum, and everyone will be able to release their inner artist at one of the project tables. Tickets are not required, and the public may come and go as they please.

The organizers of the day say that there are still spots available for Arlington makers to apply for. The fee charged is $20.00, and as the function will be held outdoors, pop-up style tents are encouraged.

Banner printing companies can often be relied on to supply reusable printed Banners to small businesses that take part in community markets like this.

The Spring Market and Cherry Blossom Celebration will herald the change of the season on Sunday, April 14. It will run from 12:00pm until 3:00pm at 3550 Wilson Boulevard.
