A Washington area activity will invite kids into the kitchen so they can learn some of the basics of food preparation.
The Kids Halloween Eats and Treats class will use fun to teach the fundamentals of cookery, and it is geared to youngsters from ages 8 to 13. The session’s scheduled run time is two hours, and a registration fee starting at $56 will be charged.
The group will be making a variety of Halloween-themed treats, such as eyeballs, worms, and bloody s’mores, although these will all simply be creepy versions of common dishes that tend to be popular with the younger set. Chef Joel Olson will supply the instruction, and the participants will learn a variety of techniques, as well as how to handle and prepare food safely.
A culinary class can be both fun and helpful for the people who attend, and a company that crafts Corporate Gifts will be able to add the extra finishing touches. It can offer chef’s hats and aprons printed with a Logo Design, as well as recipe cards and even bound Books for guests to take home after the event.
The McLean Community Center has made arrangements to welcome this cooking class on Saturday, October 29. Those taking part are asked to arrive by no later than 12:30 pm.
