Washington activity to explore basic houseplant care

A Washington workshop will help to take the mystery out of caring for the green friends that help keep their houses’ air clean while adding life and color.

Atlas Brew Works Ivy City Brewery and Tap Room will be welcoming an event facilitated by Plants Alive! It will be well suited to the beginner, and it will offer some basic tips and advice that may help lead to successful home horticulture

Attendees will discover how there are different types of plants, and there are choices for almost any growing condition. Tips for choosing the right soil, how to properly water and feed houseplants, and other information will be shared, and everyone will also be able to meet others who are also getting started at adding plants to their home. Propagation will also be discussed, and tickets for the session cost $15.

Workshops give members of the public who are interested in a particular activity the opportunity to learn, and they can provide everything from a basic introduction to a deep dive. Information packets can be prepared by a brochure printing company that provides further details.

Those who would like to get the inside scoop when it comes to houseplants are invited to book their seat for this session now. It will begin at 2:00 pm on Sunday, May 19.
