Creative candle making on the way to Washington

A workshop that will combine botany with crafting has been planned for a Washington venue, and everyone will go home with a project they have made themselves by hand.

The participants in the activity will be making succulent planter candles, and each will be unique. Candle maker Lilly of Relume will share her expertise during the event.

An in-person event, the registrants in the activity will learn how to pour their own candles, and they will get a chance to do this by hand. After this, they will arrange the pre-molded succulents and cacti in whatever way they wish, and there will be other decorative elements to incorporate as well. The finished candles can be burned or kept as they are admired, and some may even choose to give them as a gift to someone special.

Learning new skills along with others in a social setting can be a lot of fun, and classes offer the public an opportunity to enjoy such an experience. Stationery printers will be happy to supply the organizers with any printing services they may need for their function to be a success, including branded note pads.

This botanical-themed candle crafting class will be welcoming learners on September 14, starting at 5:00 pm. The maker space where it will be held is located at 1304 Wisconsin Avenue.
