Creatives and craft enthusiasts are in for a treat next month, as a knitting workshop is coming to Plainville for an afternoon of fun.
The Chunky Knit Snowman Workshop, which will be hosted by Witchdoctor Brewing Company, has announced an official date for the crafting event, allowing Plainville residents to register and attend. The workshop will be led by Kim Brewer, an experienced knitter who will provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere for participants to build confidence and improve their skills.
The purpose of the workshop is to create a chunky snowman with the skills taught during the class, leading to an adorable handmade gift for friends or family, or a new piece of seasonal decor. Students will learn how to use soft yarn and knitting techniques to shape the snowman. Chunky knitting finger experience is helpful but not required, and all skill levels are welcome to sign up. All materials are included with the registration price, as are decorative accents. Space is limited in the workshop, and interested parties are encouraged to make reservations.
Witchdoctor Brewing Company in nearby Southington will be the host venue for the knitting class. It will be held on Sunday, January 11th, from 12:30 to 3:30 PM. Tickets are $61 online.
