Community fair returns for 30th year in Plainville
A Plainville tradition is preparing to celebrate its 30th year in town, giving area residents the opportunity to participate in a milestone event that has become a staple of the community.
The 30th Annual Snowflake Fair, which is being organized by the Congregational Church of Plainville, UCC, is getting ready to open its doors to visitors and area residents who want to get started with holiday shopping while supporting local vendors and businesses. Shoppers can find an array of unique gifts for friends and family, while also getting the chance to take selfies with Santa Claus.
Food will also be available at this year’s fair, giving visitors another reason to stay and savor the occasion. Print shops can design and provide marketing materials and decor for seasonal events and fairs, enhancing the environment and overall experience. The fair has long been a fixture of Plainville’s arts and crafts scene, and a full slate of vendors and crafters have committed to attending.
The event’s organizers plan to dovetail the fair with a silent auction and bake sale, with the silent auction offering dozens of unique items that attendees can bid on.
The community fair will be held on Saturday, November 8th, starting at 9:00 AM. The address is 130 West Main Street in downtown Plainville. Admission is free and open to the public.
