Cooking class promotes healthy habits in Plainville

An in-person cooking class has been announced in Plainville, with the organizer hoping to provide area residents with the knowledge and confidence to cook healthy meals at home.

The Healthy Eating Cooking Class with Austin Farineau will be welcoming registered students soon for an immersive and energetic cooking workshop. Attendees will learn about the necessary ingredients and steps for cooking easy, nourishing, and flavorful meals at home. Farineau will demonstrate how to combine Chinese medicine with these cooking recipes to improve health and wellness.

Farineau, a native of West Hartford, will focus his teaching efforts on guiding students toward a modern approach to cooking that goes deeper than the food. Beginners are encouraged to sign up for the learning experience to get a head start on mindful eating practices and preventative health measures. Flyer printing can provide organizers of events like this with dozens of colorful Flyers to place around town, increasing visibility and attendance.

The recipes students will learn to make will include classics from Italian, American, and Chinese cuisine. Farineau will explain with each meal the health benefits, including energy production and digestion. All ages are welcome, and drop-in participants are encouraged.

The class is scheduled for Friday, April 17th, from 7:00 to 8:30 PM. It will be held at 13 Whiting Street in Plainville. Tickets cost $76.54 online.
